They describe them selves as a store that is strictly independent and only stock brands that like them selves stand up against the monsters of corporation and stand out with quality and better days. The couverture part of the shop is located on the ground floor of the building and sells women's clothing, child's clothing, toys and furniture. The first floor and second floor is where the garbstore is located, they stock a great list of global and international brands. Be sure to check them out if your in London, I am sure they will have something for you, male or female, child or adult.

Product - CDG Play

CDM Play at Dover Street Market

This is brand I have really enjoyed wearing recently and think their ideas are fresh and stand out amongst  a lot of other brands on the market today. I picked up the CDM Play t shirt shown above a few weeks ago and have been pleased with the t shirt overall, having a number of positive remarks regarding it. The t shirt is made from a premium cotton material which you can really feel when wearing, also the embodied detail looks great against the high quality print on the t shirt. This t shirt like a lot of CDM stuff is highly limited and is currently limited stock in most CDM retailers. It has been a great t shirt for the summer with its bold design and will continue to be worn throughout the remainder of summer.

Product - Tantum

Tantum Hawaiian Pocket Tee

I have recently picked up one of these tees from endclothing, and am happy with the product overall. They are a very clean simple design with the detail on the pocket popping of the t shirt. This new and upcoming brand Tantum have seen recent growths in popularity and are becoming a hot topic. endclothing recently released their first batch of Tantum Tees this week and on Friday released a whole new batch of Tees and bucket hats after the success of the first batch, which sold out in days. When I received the t shirt the first thing I noticed is the quality of the material used, which is organic cotton, it is thick and heavy weight and gives a the t shirt a high end feel. A tip I would give to anyone looking at coping a Tantum Tee is to order the size below, the size you would normally pick up as they do run quite large.

Defiantly worth checking these guys out, if you have a bit of time on your hands and are interested in watching some short films. some of the films they display are very good, interesting, with clear morals sometimes including humour, but others can be a bit more complex with deep underlying morales incorporated into the story being told. It is interesting to see if you can understand the story being told and some of the morales they portray and show are actually very strong and can be good lessons for the viewer. Worth a bit of your time if your got nothing better to do, you could end up spending hours watching these films.

Clubmasters at Mr.Porter

These are becoming a very popular style of sunglasses and after the huge success of the Ray-Ban Wayfarers could these be the next big design to take over the Wayfarers? I recently blogged about them here and commented on how they are a more contemporary style of sunglasses than the wayfarers, I predict the Clubmasters will see increasing popularity in the next year and beyond. They were recently featured in Mac Millers Best Day Ever video, many other celebrities can also be spotted wearing them at the moment, such as Beyonce. They are a uni-sex pair of sunglasses, in the same way the wayfarers where and they are also popular as they suit most face types, in the same way Wayfarers did. Look out for them in future, do you think they will replace the Wayfarers or are they just a substitute option for the Wayfarers?

Brand - TISA

Up and coming brand TISA have already seen recent success in the American market and have become popular amongst well known American hip hop artists and also have made it big in the street wear scene. They sell a lot of vintage clothing but debatably what they are most well know for is the way they customise the clothing that they sell. One example of this is their vintage snapbacks, were they stitch their logos on the side and back and sell it on. It gives an original twist to these hats that themselves are becoming ever more popular and turns them into something a bit more special. Look out for this brand in the foreseeable future as I think we will be seeing a lot more from TISA in the coming months.

Ambush is a Tokyo based brand which was established in 2002 and is co owned by Verbal and Yoon. They are inspired by the phrase 'Anything Goes' and are well known for producing crazy products that are really out there in terms of design. They specialize in making jewellry and their most renowned piece would have to be the "POW!" products, although they do also produce other items such as stylish hats and shoes.
They are a great brand for anyone who wants to stand out from the crowd and wear something different, but do be prepared to fork out a fair amount for these products as they don't run cheap.

Mr Porter is a 100% online based shop and has no physical shop, as of yet in the world. One of the owners of this shop is Nigo, who you may know as the owner of the Japanese brand Bape. This shop consists of very high end menswear and brands such as Lanvin and Gucci can be found here. Their clothing is quite formal and can be nice to wear if the occasion is more formal than jeans and sneakers. Defiantly worth a look if you've got the cash and prefer the more formal dress sense.

Drink - Hennesy

Hennessy

Hennesy is a Cognac which, is to brandy what champagne is to wine, it goes through a long process to reach different levels of Cognac. A bottle of Hennessy can range from anywhere around £20 all the way through to a £1000+ bottle of Richard Hennessy, the price is determined by the process the drink goes through before sale.

This drink is often referenced to in music and can be seen in music videos, Tupac famously rapped about Hennessy and artists such as Mac Miller refer to it in their music more recently. It is become popular among these musicians perhaps because of its smooth taste and also partially as it may be a way to splash the cash. It is also quite a nice drink to mix with other soft drinks such as Coke or Lemonade which can complement the drink quite well, though some Hennessy fans believe its to nice to be used as a mixer.

New MacBook Air

Today, 21st July, the new MacBook Air is released and will go on sale on Apples website sometime today. Along with the new MacBook Air comes along some pretty impressive specs, which boost its performance into a level of its own! It's going to be the 'fastest' MacBook Air to date as well as many other things. The MacBook Air used to be the perfect laptop choice for anyone who prioritised the weight and portability of their laptop over its performance and specs. But now you can get the best of both worlds with this new MacBook Air as it remains extremely light and easy to carry and now can perform as strongly or even better than the other Macbooks available.

I personally am waiting on the new version of the MacBook Pro to be released in approximately 6 months, as portability is slightly lower down my check list for a laptop than its performance. None the less, like most other Apple products this is an excellent addition to their MacBook range and will surely be a hit amongst the Apple community.

Product - Supreme Cap

Supreme

Supreme a hugely popular and ever growing New York based brand have become very popular over the last couple of years. They produce excellent products that are often extremely limited and equally as good in their quality. Arguably their most iconic product is their wide range of hats and especially their snap back caps with box logo design. 

These hats are owned by most street wear enthusiasts and can be spotted on the heads of street wear fans all over the world. They are easy to recognise with their bold box logo on the front of the hat. They have seen even more recent popularity perhaps influenced by Tyler The Creator, a member of OFWGKTA who's style is out their to say the least. With Tyler's recent success as an artist he has grown his fan base hugely. He can be seen sporting the Supreme cap from even his earlier material and i believe has popularised Supreme caps across his fan base. 

It is easy to see why these hats are so popular and in such high demanded because of their simplistic concept which can sometimes be seen in the whackiest colour ways. These hats are also desired by street wear fans  because of the effort some people have to go to before obtaining one of these hats. Whether that includes queuing in lines days before release to get the hat or paying up to 3x the RRP on sites such as Crashstreet.

Our legacy are in a way very similar to the last brand featured on this blog, A.P.C. They create simplistic clothing such as block colour t-shirts and sweats using high quality materials and production techniques. This is true for most of Our legacys products, except their long sleeve shirts which can often be very bold and bright in design. These shirts look good combined with their more simpler sweaters and knitwear. My favourite piece from their recent collection would have to be their Versatile Wax Parka which will keep you warm and stylish as we are coming up to the cooler seasons.

Brand - A.P.C.

A.P.C. is a French ready to wear brand which was established in 1988, A.P.C stands for 'Atelier de Production et de Création' which in English translates to 'Workshop production and creation'. Their flagship store is located in Paris, but their clothing line is sold globally. They are well known for the minimalistic and simple designs and  detailed, high quality products with a logo rarely in sight. They most popular products is their jeans as they are made from a high quality denim and have nice cuts.

They have recently recently released some of their new seasons items which are now available at endclothing. This collection consists of wind breakers, t shirts and jeans, all of which are very nice. The piece that stands out for me in this collection is the A.P.C x K-Way Windbreaker in navy, Its simple design using premium cotton twill makes for a very nice jacket that will last all year. Their jeans also look very nice as always and will also be a staple in any wardrobe for a while to come.

I have had them bookmarked for a few years now as they update their website several times daily and have all the latest and greatest information from the street culture world. They also have other great features on the website one of which is a directory of the best street wear shops around the world, which I am sure to consult before visiting a city, to find the best shops.

Flight Club are one of the largest and most well know sneaker retailers in America and currently have 2 stores in LA and NY. The ethos of their shop is to buy and sell sneakers, mostly nike, that are so what rare and limited in their nature. They have thousands of styles trainers to choose from and a wide price range also, some of their trainers cost over £1,000. 

They also have a very nice website, currently undergoing maintenance, where you can buy these limited trainers and they even ship globally. So if their were a pair of trainers that you didn't get round to buying on release they are worth checking to see if they have them in stock.

This collection Released in June is a strong collection from Norse and they have managed to produce some new designs which look very good for the end of summer moving in the cooler seasons. The collection is mainly comprised of shirts, sweats and wool hats. The collection is now up at end and can be purchased there. They have introduced a few different colours into the collection which may be un expected such as the light blue Visby sweater and the military green shirt. Its a very strong collection and every item in the collection is a well made quality garment.

Brand - Ray-Ban

Ray-Ban Wayfarer - Tortoise Shell

The classic pair of Wayfarer which are a staple in terms of sunglasses as their design is classic and will suit almost any face. They are most commonly found in black, I personally prefer the tortoise shell colour way as its less harsh on my pale skin. You see these glasses everywhere wether that be the red carpet to an event or in a street wear store down a London back street. They are such a popular design and it is easy to see why with their timeless design so they can be worn and kept for years to come unlike a lot of other sunglasses designs.

Another pair of Ray Ban Sunglasses that really stand out for me are the Ray Ban Club Master sunglasses, they have a more contemporary design to the wayfarers and do stand out among the mass of wayfarers. The suit a different style of face, the trick is to choose a pair of sunglasses that suit your face and not ones that you've seen suit someone else. You can try on some Ray Ban glasses in their virtual mirror, its very good to see which glasses suit you, try it out here.

Shop - Wellgosh

I would have to say that Wellgosh has to be my local store in terms of street wear stores and has been for a few years now, they are located in Leicester on the High Street. They have recently, within the last year, expanded their store so they now have a section dedicated to footwear. The store is spacious and the clothes are well presented on the walls, cabinets and tables. The staff there are friendly and knowledgeable, the atmosphere in the store is good and they boast a wide range of good street wear brands. They sell all types of products ranging from Brooks bike seats to Air Jordan's, so there is bound to be something for everyone. 

They are located on the High Street and for most people who shop in Leicester just a 2 minute walk out the back of High Cross shopping centre. I definitely recommend that you check them out if you have the chance to, when visiting Leicester.

They also have their online shop, wellgosh.com, which isn't the best online shop out there and doesn't always have all their stock available online. It can also be quite difficult to navigate and with no latest products section it is difficult to keep up with their new arrivals. They do have a Tumblr account where all their new stock is showcased. They have also commented saying that they are working towards developing their website further. That said i have previously successfully ordered online from their current website, without any qualms. I would say the best way to experience Wellgosh is would be by visiting their high street shop, with the great friendly customer service, rather than online.

endclothing was started in 2005 so is a fairly young store but in those short 5 years has already established its self as one of the top clothing retailers not only in the UK but Globally and now ship all of the world. They are located in High Bridge, Newcastle and also have end hunting co as a second shop which is also located in Newcastle and stocks only the highest quality clothing.

They split there shop and stock into two sections, one being the finest street wear from all over the world and the other side is casual clothing and a little bit of fashion as well. They aim to bring the highest level of customer service available through their friendly and knowledgable staff. As well as their impressive physical shop they also have a great online shop which is updated daily with the latest stock. I would go as far as saying their online shop is my favourite against any other online retailer out there. 

I defiantly recommend that you check them out and I am sure among there huge stock selection there will be plenty of products that interest you!

Product - Tantum t-shirt

This LA based brand that is fairly new as a designer has recently released their batch of hand made pocket tees on end. These highly limited style of t shirts are almost already sold out after only being released a few days ago for their AW11 season. We can expect more t shirts from Tantum in the future and most likely some buckets hats which along side there pocket tees they are recognised for.

These t shirts are have been very popular and it isn't hard to see why with such a simple design and the twist of excitement on the pocket really makes these stand above a lot of heavily branded or busy t shirts popular today. Look out for more from the brand and expect to see big things from them as they progress forward as a new brand.

Shop - UK SUPREME?

There has recently been talk about Supreme opening their first store outside of America and Japan and that place is London. It is looking ever more likely that Supreme are opening a store on Carnaby Street that will sit between Bape and The Hideout Store, in the place of Benjy's coffee shop. It has been discussed in HIP one of 3 UK Supreme stockists that their Supreme supplies are being pulled, which means this Supreme shop will be the only place to buy Supreme in the UK. 

The shop will have a much larger stock of Supreme products than the stockists previously do, this also means that Supreme products would now be  allowed to ship to UK Addresses which wasn't available previously. Supreme products will then be much easier to get a hold of in the UK. At the moment it is difficult to get hold of a Supreme products in the UK and involves either travelling to London or paying extortion-et amounts of money on Ebay. 

Will this New Supreme branch, making Supreme easier to get hold of, be the beginning of an end for Supreme in the UK? or will it simply make those who enjoy Supreme have easier access to their favourite Supreme products?

Although i don't think Supreme is ever going to become a commercialised brand that everyone is wearing, with their G-Star t-shirts. Supremes products are to 'out their' for the commercial market, and apart from the people who currently wear Supreme their isn't a large market of people would feel comfortable in certain Supreme products. I do think some Supreme wearers who pride their dress apparel on the effort they went to, to achieve their look may be put of by the now more easily accessible Supreme within the UK. Although the mast majority of Supreme fans will be pleased that they can now access their favourite brand with more ease.

I think a point to remember is that Supreme is still very popular in America and Japan and they had a few stores their for many years, so will UK just be level with them in terms of being able to access Supreme?

Beats by Dr. Dre Beatbox iPod® Dock High Performance iPod® Dock

This is a product I am very passionate about and can often spend much of my day with this iPod docking station cranked right up to the loudest it can go (Which is actually very loud). I have owned this Dr. Dre Beatbox for over 6 months now and have never been let down by the sound this system can produce. It is half sound system and half earth quake generator, the bass that this reasonably sized docking station can produce is phenomenal and unlike a lot of its competitors the sound quality doesn't suffer as a consequence for the out standing bass.

I would strongly recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a high end docking station that can blow you away with its sound quality. Although most celebrity endorsed products can often be fads, this and most of the Monster Dr. Dre products are indecisively different from that trend. These speakers can perform equally if not better than any of their price competitors. These speakers specialise in Hip-Hop music and excel in this area, although any other music genre can be equally as pleasant through this speakers from the piano keys in pachelbells cannon to the screams of a Rock song. If you are a fan of Hip-Hop music in particular and are looking to spend a generous amount of money, £350, on your sound system then these are the speakers for you. As well as being a great sound system they are also very ascetically pleasing and look great in any room, with the combination of the matte and gloss finish and subtle logo placement these truly are beautiful speakers.

Stussy Basic Logo T-Shirt

Stussy is a leading street wear brand and has been a widely recognised and respected brand in the street wear scene for a while now. Stussy first started in the 1980's by a certain Shawn Stussy and originally began as a surfing brand but over the years has evolved into a street wear and hip hop scene.

They make everything from snap backs to loafers and have always had a wide range of products, taking into account many different dress styles. This has contributed to their success because as a brand they appeal to a wide market. It has now developed into an international brand and had 60+ Stussy stores across the world as well as their countless number of Stussy stockists.

Unlike some other street wear brands it isn't particular hard to get a hold of compared to an exclusive brand such as Supreme. Although it isn't exclusive or difficult to get a hold of the way the are always refreshing there stock means it is very unlikely you will be caught wearing the same Stussy tee as another. They are also reasonable priced on most of their products, although that doesn't apply to all there products as some of their collaborations prices have sky rocketed since their release. Such as their collaboration with Nike on the Stussy X Nike SB a few years ago, which can now cost you up into the hundreds to cop your self a pair now.

Designed by Mark McNairy and made by Sanders & Sanders in Northampton, the New Amsterdam collection is a merging of modern with heritage design to great effect. Using the finest materials and incorporating McNairy's astute eye for detail to create one of the most anticipated collections of recent years. A Very nice casual shoe which is nice to have when your feeling in a more smarter mood than your trainers can replicate. Nice with chinos which are becoming ever more popular but can be equally as nice with a nicely cut pair of jeans. These dont run cheap though and you will have to pay a bit more than you maybe would for a pair of shoes, but they will last along time physically and are also timeless as a shoe and will be fashionable for seasons to come.

Nice to see him becoming more popular in the UK and you may know him from his UK releases Black and Yellow and Roll Up which are also both good songs.
